Tokyo Disneyland

Well today was an early start for some as we got used to the 3 hour time difference! Plenty of time to enjoy breakfast where plates were piled with pancakes, cream and chocolate sauce and a side of hot chips added - definitely not the breakfast for me!
We set off for Disneyland and arrived there about 9am  - it's been a big day as we returned to the hotel around 9pm.
Disneyland was great and enjoyed by all. Unfortunately we had torrential rain in the afternoon but that meant some of the children were wearing very cool red Minnie Mouse rain capes as were many of the tourists there.
Some of the highlights for the children were the 'Splash Mountain' ride, the Thunder Mountain ride and also the Space mountain ride.
The cup and saucer ride was a lot of fun (despite Brooke looking scared, she really enjoyed it).
We had rides on a paddle steamer boat, a train and also paddled our canoe up the river. We visited 'A Small World' where we saw NZ featured. We helped Buzz Lightyear out by using our lazer guns to shoot targets on the baddies for him whilst on the Buzz Lightyear ride. It was a fun filled day and a great way for Rosa to celebrate her birthday.
The children will certainly sleep well tonight...as will the adults!

  1. What a wonderfully wet day it looks like you had. Pancakes and Hot chips for breakfast would be on top of Connor’s list of favourite foods. It looks amazing.
